1. OVERVIEW

CamDoc is a document scanning application that lets you capture documents
with your camera, select images from your gallery, compress them, and
export them as PDF files.
All document processing — including image compression and PDF generation —
happens entirely on your device. We never upload your documents or images
to any server.
2. DATA WE ACCESS
-----------------
Camera
We request access to your camera so you can photograph documents inside
the app. Images are processed locally and never transmitted externally.
Photo Library & Storage
We request access to your photo library and storage so you can select
images and save PDF files to your device. Files stay on your device only.
Advertising — Google AdMob
CamDoc displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect:
- Advertising ID (GAID on Android / IDFA on iOS)
- Device model, OS version, and language
- IP address and approximate location (from IP)
- Ad impressions and click data
To opt out of personalized ads:
Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization
iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking > disable for CamDoc

Crash Reporting — Firebase Crashlytics
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports when the app
encounters an error. Crashlytics may collect:
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Device model, OS version, and app version
- A randomly generated installation UUID (not linked to your identity)
- Time and frequency of crashes
Crash reports do NOT include your documents, images, or any file content.

Sharing
When you share a PDF via WhatsApp or the system share sheet, the file is
passed to the app you select. We do not intercept or log shared content.
Sharing is always user-initiated.
3. DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

- Your documents, images, or PDFs are never uploaded to any server.
- We do not collect your name, email address, or account information.
- We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs beyond AdMob and Firebase
Crashlytics (crash reports only — no documents or file content).
- We do not track your location.
- We do not build user profiles or share data with data brokers.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

CamDoc is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a
child has provided information through ad interactions, contact us at
dipprokash2015@gmail.com.
6. DATA RETENTION
------------------
We do not store personal data on any server. PDF files and images you
create exist only on your device and can be deleted at any time through
your file manager or within the app.
Ad and crash data retained by Google is governed by their privacy policy.
7. SECURITY

All document processing happens locally on your device, so your documents
are never exposed to a network transmission by us. Advertising and crash
data security is handled by Google's infrastructure and policies.
8. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR, CCPA, or
other applicable laws, including:
- Access : Request information about data collected about you.
- Deletion : Request deletion of your personal data.
- Opt-Out : Disable personalized ads via your device settings.
- Portability : Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise
the Effective Date above. Continued use of the app after changes
